Tonight from 6 to 9, the Winchester hosts its weekly Open Turntable Tuesday. Jason Gokorsch will book guest DJs and offer slots to people who want to bring their own vinyl and spin their favorite songs or deep tracks. First time DJs are encouraged, and equipment is provided. Music Around Town, Fund-Raisers
Cabin Jam is a virtual benefit concert inspired by the absence of live music in 2020. All proceeds go to organizations including: Sixth City Sounds, Arts Cleveland, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the National Independent Venue Association. Cabin Jam will take place via Zoom on March 27th, 2021 at 7:00pm EST.
Artists including Tomorrow Daily, Kerrigan Barry, Lawn, and Meghan Garrison will be performing.

Bob Patetta is a singer-songwriter specializing in blues, rock and folk, and has been performing and recording on guitar, harmonica and vocals for over 50 years. Born and raised in New Jersey, Bob started out singing and playing in rock bands, he has also worked extensively along the Gulf Coast of Florida, playing harmonica and washboard with Rosie O’Grady’s Dixieland Band in Pensacola, guitar and blues harp in the greater Tampa area and in Ohio since 1990.

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) closes out its 2021 Wadsworth Library concert season with Home for the Holidays: Sentimental Melodies. Let vocalist Emily Aleta Dorland, and pianist Duane Carlson take you through a musical journey celebrating the most wonderful time of the year while honoring many cultures through the power of music. A Wadsworth native, Emily Aleta Dorland began singing at a young age. She cultivated and enhanced her love of music and her singing through participation in choirs and musical theater productions. Duane Carlson is an accomplished pianist born in Akron, Ohio.

The EEJ Firelands Trio will explore the various musical periods of pianist/composer Herbie Hancock’s legendary career — from “Maiden Voyage” to “Rockit” and more. The trio will discuss important milestones in Herbie’s career and will end the program with along with Q & A.

Featuring saxophonist Tom Lempner and keyboardist Eli Manos, the program will include original classical music compositions influenced by the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras. Both instrumentalists are members of the award-winning Cleveland Winds.

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its free Wadsworth Library concert series with James and Madelaine McQueen performing fold songs as viewed through a classical lens. Violinist and composer James Matej MacQueen is an active performer throughout the United States as well as locally, performing his own compositions alongside concerts of classical and Scottish fiddle music with occasional forays into the baroque violin. Madelaine Matej, soprano, sings professionally throughout the US and teaches voice and piano in the Cleveland area. She debuted professionally at age thirteen, singing Flora in The Turn of the Screwwith Oakland Opera Theater.
